Chelsea Kiewel and Sam Carr Named to Region XIII All Region Volleyball Team

Chelsea Kiewel and Sam Carr were named to the 2017 Region XIII All Region team.  

Chelsea finished the 2017 season with 508 total digs. She led the way for the Blue Knight Defense and serve receive the entire year. 

"Chelsea did an amazing job for our team this year. She was so consistent and made amazing plays each set, and she made it seem so effortless. I am so proud of Chelsea and all she did for our program the past two years. I can't wait to see what Chelsea is going to do after she graduates from DCTC. She will do amazing things on and off the court!" said head volleyball coach Jen Bowman.

Sam finished the 2017 season with 202 kills, 1.92 kills/set and a hitting percentage of .278. In the region tournament, Sam had 52 kills in 4 sets and hit an amazing .436 hitting percentage.

"Sam was extremely consistent for us this season. She was a force at the net and provided a lot of our offense . She improved a lot during the season, and I am so excited to have her back next year. She is a hard worker and still has a lot of potential to do even more next season." said Jen Bowman.
