Blue Knights Volleyball Signs Jada Aljubailah 

The Blue Knights volleyball team has signed Jada Aljubailah, an outside hitter from Richfield, MN. 

"Jada is a dynamic and strong athlete that will make an immediate impact. She has a ton of potential and a great work ethic, so I can't wait to see what is in store for Jada at DCTC! She is also a great person and will add to our team chemistry." said head volleyball coach Jen Bowman.

We asked Jada a few questions to get to know her better:

Tell us a little about yourself and about your volleyball history up to this point:
My name Jada Aljubailah and I've been playing volleyball for 6 years now. I love to go out and experience new things and make new friends. I also love to go camping with my family in the summer.

How long have you played volleyball and for what teams have you played for?
I've played for Richfield for 6 years like I said above and I've also played club volleyball for two going on to three years. 

List any volleyball/academic awards you have received:
I've received an honorable award, a regular award for the Volleyball season and spot light on scholarship for keeping my gpa above a 3.0.

Have you played any other sports?
The other sports I played was track and softball. I've played softball for 6 years and track for 3.

What other interests/hobbies or activities do you participate in?
I love music and I'm featured on a couple of albums! I love photography and fishing.

Why did you chose DCTC and what you are excited about in the coming 2 years?
I felt like DCTC was the perfect school for me. I wanted to play volleyball in college and go to a place that fit my financial budget. Then Jen came to one of my volleyball games and introduced herself to me after and told me all about DCTC. I automatically knew I was gonna like it,  so I went and toured the school and met her after the tour. She explained how everything was gonna go and it all sounded perfect. I'm super excited to play for DCTC and become a blue knight!
