Softball Loses to Bay to end their season. Finish 3rd in the Region.

DCTC watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 26-7 loss to Bay College on Sunday. Bay College Norse scored on a double by Kaitlyn Hardwick and a home run by Maddy Griffin in the first inning. The Blue Knights collected seven hits and Bay College had 23 in the high-scoring affair. DCTC tallied three runs in the fifth inning. Mia Haugen, Courtney Weispfennig, and Lexi Lasso all drove in runs in the frame. Courtney Heagle took the loss, lasting two and a third innings, allowing 11 hits and 16 runs. DCTC tallied one home run on the day. Deymbre Avalos had a four bagger in the third inning. Mackenna Johnson, Weispfennig, Haugen, Ayanna Iyamu, Lasso, Kaitlyn Nash, and Avalos each managed a hit.
