Parker Savard didn't feel much like getting out on Tuesday, tallying four hits and leading Blue Knights to a 9-2 win over St Thomas JV. Savard singled in the first, doubled in the second, doubled in the fourth, and singled in the fifth. The Blue Knights grabbed an early lead. Blue Knights scored on a walk by Gus Newman in the first inning and a double by Savard in the second inning. DCTC pulled away for good with two runs off a Savard double in the second inning. Blue Knights put up four runs in the fourth inning. Blue Knights offense in the inning was led by Savard, Trent Fredenburg, Henry Laue, and Newman, all driving in runs in the frame. Ethan Cernohous was credited with the victory for the Blue Knights. He allowed two hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out three and walking zero. Goulet drove in runs on a double in the second, a double in the third, and a triple in the sixth. The Blue Knights got on the board in the first inning when Trent Fredenburg tripled to score Ian walker. DCTC took the lead for good with five runs in the third inning. Spencer Kopp earned the win for Blue Knights. He lasted two and two-thirds innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out three and walking zero. Jack Stoddard and Jonah Lewis entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Zach Anderson started the game, he lasted one and two-thirds innings, allowing five hits and five runs while striking out two and walking one.
