Women's Soccer Team Falls To Defending ICCAC Champs

The defending Iowa Community College Athletic Conference champion was just too much for the Dakota County Technical College women’s soccer team.
On DCTC Fan Appreciation Day, Iowa Western Community College topped the Blue Knights 6-0 for the second time this season.
DCTC had upset on their mind when they hit two posts early in the first half and created many other scoring chances.
IWCC weathered the storm, though, and eventually took control of the game with a goal in the 42nd minute, going into halftime with a 1-0 lead.
DCTC was unable to sustain the pressure and allowed five more goals in the second half to the 2006 national runner-ups.
The 6-0 loss was the Blue Knights third in a row.
