Blue Knights Defeat Ridgewater

The Dakota County Technical College men’s soccer team improved their record to 5-3 with a convincing 7-1 win over Ridgewater College on Wednesday, Sept. 19.
The Blue Knights blew the game open in the second half as they scored six of their goals in the final 45 minutes.
Freshman Adi Bilina (Fr., Minneapolis, Minn.) scored three goals and added two assists. Akey Jumale (Soph., Marshall, Minn.) added two goals.
Adding single goals was Arnes Habibovic (Fr., Rochester, Minn.) and Soni Phommachanh (Fr., Eagan, Minn.).
Dahir Jumale (Fr., Marshall, Minn.) assisted on three goals.
Goalkeeper Geoffrey Kalanzi (Fr., Eden Prairie, Minn.) shutout Ridgewater College for the first 80 minutes. Phommachanh played the final 10 minutes.
The women’s team lost 5-0 to Macalester College junior varsity.
