Blue Knight Women Optimistic For 2006 Soccer Season

ROSEMOUNT, Minn.— The fourth season of play is about to get underway in the short history of the DCTC Blue Knights women’s soccer program.
Preseason action pits the Blue Knights against three NCAA Division II scholarship-level programs on August 15. Regular season play will begin with a home opener weekend Saturday, August 26 at 11 a.m. against last year’s conference champion, Iowa Western Community College.
After an 8-9-2 finish last season, an overall NJCAA Division I record of 33-24-3, a promising recruit list and six returning players, the Blue Knights are optimistic about what the 2006 campaign will hold.
