Blue Knights Women Drop A Tough Game To Macalester

Apple Valley, Minn.-- The Blue Knights women's soccer team lost a tough battle with the Macalester College JV squad on Sept. 8, going down 3-1 at Johnny Cake Ridge Park in Apple Valley. DCTC scored first with a 20-yard shot into the Macalester goal about 10 minutes into the game. Macalester followed quickly on a corner kick, and the first half ended in a 1-1 tie.
Macalester picked up two more goals in the second half to put the game out of reach. Coach Cam Stoltz said the depth of the Macalester bench was a factor in the loss, which left DCTC with a 1-3 overall record for the season.
