DCTC Signs Eleven Women for Soccer Team

Dakota County Technical College (DCTC) recently had 11 students sign NJCAA national letters of intent to play on the college’s first-ever women’s soccer team this fall.

DCTC will take on established National Junior Collegiate Athletic Association (NJCAA) programs throughout Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. DCTC will play in Region 13 of the NJCAA (112 institutions participate in Women's Soccer). Starting up Aug. 26 against Bethany Lutheran, the team will play 18 games, providing for an extensive intercollegiate schedule, including contests against teams from Macalester, St. Olaf, Iowa Central, and DuPage (Illinois).

Women signing letters of intent with DCTC last week were: Rachel Jones, Hillary Keefer, Amy Bruno, Michelle Libman, Laree Lother, Hani Mahomed Ismail, Julianne Peters, Vanessa Schulte, Mandy Stockton, Rita Rosner, and Julie Steber.
