Men's Soccer Racks Up Four-Game Win Streak

Knights Bounce Ridgewater 5-2

 

The Blues Knights won their fourth game in a row by derailing the Ridgewater College Warriors 5-2 at a home game Saturday, Oct. 4. The game also gave men's soccer their fifth win of the year.

Sophomore Geofrey Kalanzi (Kabojja School, Kampala, Uganda) made a strong showing, tallying up three goals, including one that broke a 2-2 tie early in the second half.

DCTC stands at 5-6-7 heading into an ICCAC showdown with the second-place North Iowa Community College Trojans at Mason City, Iowa, Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 4 p.m.

The Blue Knights travel to Wisconsin for the weekend of Oct. 11 & 12, taking on the Madison Area Technical College Wolfpack at noon on Saturday in Madison, Wis., and the Milwaukee Area Technical College Stormers at noon on Sunday in Milwaukee, Wis.
