Blue Knights Fall In Macalaster Rematch

Rosemount, Minn.-- The Blue Knights men’s soccer team fought hard against a tough Macalester JV team on Tuesday, Sept. 21, falling 3-0 in St. Paul.
In the first half Macalester managed to put in two goals in the 38th and 43rd minutes. Despite hitting the post, and many offensive opportunities, DCTC was unable to score. Macalester added one more goal in the second half on a shot from outside the box into the upper- left corner. Shots on goal for the game were in DCTC’s favor 14-10.
The Blue Knights men and women will both be in action this weekend traveling to Northern Iowa to play North Iowa Area Community College on Saturday and Scott Community College on Sunday.
