Area Profile

Dakota County Technical College's main campus is located in Rosemount, Minnesota on County Rd. 42. It is in the south Twin Cities metro area, minutes from the Mall of America and the Minnesota Zoo. With an estimated population of 17,293 and land area of nearly 36 square miles, Rosemount offers a small town feel with the social and cultural advantages of a large city. Unusual for a city of its size, Rosemount combines industry, agriculture and agricultural research with a rapidly growing residential community providing an excellent environment in which to live and work.

DCTC is a two-year, Minnesota state college that has been a leader in providing quality education for more than 30 years. We have vast experience in providing state-of-the-art technology to students pursuing new careers and professionals seeking to upgrade their current skills. DCTC offers associates degrees, diplomas and certificates, as well as online courses and convenient hours to meet diverse student needs. General education courses are also available through the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum for transfer to a four-year college or university. In addition to DCTC's main campus in Rosemount, we also have locations in Burnsville, Eagan, and Apple Valley.
