Wes Crawford
Wes Crawford is joining the Blue Knights for a second season as an assistant coach. A two-time All-State baseball player at Winter Haven High School in Winter Haven, Fla. Crawford went on to play for the Florida State University Seminoles, earning All-American honors and recognition as a Sporting News All-American.
Crawford played for the Anaheim Angels from 1998–2002. He also played for the St. Paul Saints and the North Shore Spirit.
His professional coaching career began with the Kalamazoo Kings in 2004. He led the Kings to a Frontier League championship in 2005. He managed the Calgary Vipers in the Northern League in 2006. Wes operated the American Baseball Academy from 2004–2006.
Crawford resides with his wife Josan and their identical twins, Adrianne and Isabella, in New Prague, Minn.
