Richard Godlewski

Richard GodlewskiRichard Godlewski joined the Blue Knights program in 2008 as a volunteer coach for both the men and women's teams with a focus on goalkeeping. Godlewski grew up in France, playing club and professional soccer for AS Saint-Étienne, a top club in French Division 1, now Ligue 1.

After retiring from professional play, he moved to the United States and coached at numerous clubs in Florida, Colorado and Minnesota, most recently at the under 18 and 19 premier levels in the Twin Cities. Godlewski earned a degree in computer science from the University of Colorado.

He recently retired as an information system analyst for the U.S. Postal Service and is currently doing consulting work around the country. He is married with two grown children and residences in Burnsville and Waterville, Minn.
