Chuck Korpi

Chuck KorpiChuck Korpi enters his second season as goalkeeper coach for the Blue Knights. While in high school, Korpi was trained and coached by Joe Corrigan, the star goalkeeper for Manchester City. Korpi coached Olympic development for Minnesota youth soccer as well as high school soccer in Mankato and Burnsville.

He also coached goalkeepers at the University of Wisconsin-Superior and Minnesota State University, Mankato. Korpi played at Osseo Senior High School, where his team advanced to the Minnesota State High School Tournament in 1991 and 1992. He played at Rockford College and continues to compete with Burnsville Fire in the Minnesota Amateur Soccer League. Korpi hold a USSF National C License and NSCAA Goalkeeper Diplomas I and II.

He also earned his bachelor’s degree in mass communication from Minnesota State University, Mankato. A native of Maple Grove, Minn., Korpi currently resides in Coon Rapids.
