Cam Pagani Stoltz

Cam StoltzCam (Pagani) Stoltz has 25 seasons of college soccer experience as a player, assistant and head coach. He holds an all-time college head coaching record of 312-220-51 (181-150-14 at DCTC). Cam was hired in 2002 to launch the Blue Knights soccer program. The very next year, Stoltz kicked off the women's team, following up with the men's team in 2004. Coach Stoltz has built the only NJCAA Division I scholarship program in Minnesota.
Stoltz began his college coaching career in the early 90's as an assistant coach at South Mountain College in Arizona. He also coached one of the strongest college clubs in the nation, leading the Minnesota State University, Mankato, men's team to a national championship game, finishing runner-up to Purdue University. MSU won seven conference titles and four regional championships and 131 games with Stoltz as head coach.

Stoltz has also coached high school programs at Tempe, Ariz., Loyola, Minn., and Mankato East. He served as Minnesota State University, Mankato, and assistant women's coach from 2000 to 2002 when the program was a top-10 NCAA program and won two consecutive conference championships. He has conducted hundreds of coaching courses for Minnesota Youth Soccer and U.S. Soccer. He also worked for 1994 FIFA World Cup in Pasadena and Palo Alto, Calif., coordinating training facilities and schedules for some of the world's top national teams.

As a college player at Mankato State, Cam started in 81 consecutive games and participated in three national tournaments including a final four run coming up short against Texas A and M in a national semifinal. Stoltz went on to play in the Minnesota Amateur Soccer League, winning two state championships before finishing his playing days 2003.

In a short amount of time, Stoltz has created a storied program of success in two year college athletics. In nine years at DCTC, 273 players have worn Blue Knight soccer jerseys. Dozens of players have moved on to over 30 universities and in all three NCAA divisions. Nine DCTC soccer athletes have been awarded "Academic All American" while four have won "All American" status on the field. In 2007, former Knight Alejandro De la Mora played against David Beckham and the Los Angeles Galaxy while playing professional soccer for the Minnesota Thunder. In 2009, former Blue Knight Geofrey Kalanzi won the "NJCAA Lea Plarski Award" which is the single most prestigious athletic honor bestowed on any two-year college athlete. Kalanzi and the college were recognized at the AT&T National Sportsmanship Awards that were broadcast on CBS Sports. This last fall, former Blue Knight Kassandra Young played for the University Of Louisville making a post season run into the NCAA I round of 16.

In addition to coaching Blue Knights soccer at DCTC, Stoltz serves as athletic coordinator and teaches in the Exercise and Sports Science program for the college. He also serves as the Assistant Director for the NJCAA Region 13 and sits on the National Rankings Committee for men's division I soccer. Coach Stoltz holds a degree in physical education and sports management with an athletic coaching minor.
