Two Blue Knights Baseball Players Heading for NCAA Teams

Evan Lucius to UW-Superior; Luke Anderson to NDSU


Two former Blue Knights are signed up to play baseball for four-year universities. Pitcher Luke Anderson, who finished the 2008–2009 season with a 7–0 record, a 3.19 ERA and 50 strikeouts, will be playing for the North Dakota State University Bisons, an NCAA Division I team.

Evan Lucius will be playing for the University of Wisconsin-Superior Yellowjackets, an NCAA Division III team. Lucius batted .325 last season with 30 RBIs and a team-leading 15 doubles.

The NDSU Thundering Herd competes in the Summit League. The UWS Yellowjackets play in the WIAC
