DCTC Baseball Headed for MCAC State Tournament

Blue Knights Vying for 1st or 2nd in MCAC South Division
As of April 28, DCTC Blue Knights baseball has posted a 28–14 season record, going 9–3 in MCAC South Division play. The team is one game behind the Riverland Community College Blue Devils, who are 8–1 in the division and 30–7 overall. Riverland faces the Rochester Community and Technical College Yellowjackets Tuesday, April 28, in a doubleheader that was rained out Sunday, April 26.
The Knights are qualified to compete in the 2009 MCAC State Tournament, Saturday and Sunday, May 2–3, in St. Cloud, Minn. Three teams will advance to the NJCAA Div. III Region 13 Tournament, May 9–11, in Willmar, Minn. The Knights will complete the regular season Wednesday, April 29, in Worthington, Minn., in a doubleheader against the Western Technical College Cavaliers.
