Former Blue Knights outfielder and pitcher accepts scholarship

Marcus Fitzgerald, former Blue Knights outfielder and pitcher, accepted a scholarship offer from Concordia University of St. Paul to play NCAA Division II baseball for Head Coach Mark "Lunch" McKenzie and the Golden Bears.
Named to the 2008 MCCC All-State and All-Region Teams, Fitzgerald led the Knights in homes runs last year, blasting eight, which set both career and DCTC season records.
