DCTC Blue Knight Named MCCC South Division Athletic of the Week

ROSEMOUNT, Minn. – DCTC's Alex Hanson-Michelson (3B/P) has been named player of the week for the MCCC South Division.
During the first week of regular season action, Hanson-Michelson went 10 of 22 at the plate with two doubles, one home run and nine RBI's. He also won one game in relief, striking out six and walking none.
"Alex has hit very well for us early in the season. We have put him in the three-hole most of the year, and that is a tough spot to hit in. He has handled it well and done a very good job," said DCTC Blue Knights head baseball coach Tim Huber.
Stats through 22 games are .328 (21-64) 4 2B, 2 HR, 4 SB, 19 RBI's. Alex is a sophomore from Forest Lake High School currently pursuing his associate's degree.

The Blue Knights will be in action in Rochester on Saturday, April 15 versus RCTC. Game times are 1:00 & 3:00 p.m.
